MLK: The "March Through Time" Fortnite Event was developed in its entirety by members of the community in Fortnite Creative Mode, immersing players in MLK's significant "I Have a Dream" speech in its full length and historical context.
On the Martin Luther King "March Through Time" Fortnite event, Ian Orefice, President of TIME Studios, made the following statement:
TIME Studios’ mission is to embrace innovative new formats to tell the world’s most impactful stories. We are thrilled to introduce our first-ever gaming experience and expand our groundbreaking The March project, which started as an immersive exhibit, into the global, educational event March Through Time in Fortnite Creative.
Epic Games and Fortnite’s community creators have been instrumental in bringing this powerful content to millions of players, and we are excited to enable the next generation to explore Dr. King’s historic impact in a new way.

Where Can I Find the "March Through Time" Event in Fortnite?
You can find the Martin Luther King event, as well as the challenges and rewards, on the creative island D.C. '63. You can join the island either directly from the game menu, or via an island code in creative mode. The code for D.C. '63 is 3815-8892-1433.
How Do I Unlock the Free "March Through Time" Rewards?
There are ten mini-games in Fortnite's "March Through Time" Event, all developed around the idea that "we move forward when we work together," according to TIME Studios. The following games can be found around the National Mall:
- Stacking
- Fall Through Time
- Library
- Duo Puzzle
- Gravity
- Labyrinth
- Climb the Mountain
- Pillars of Justice
- Relay Race
- Museum
Most of these Fortnite Mini-Games are impossible to complete without at least one other player. Some, such as "Climb the Mountain" can be done alone, but it is a much slower and more difficult task. Each game rewards players, upon its completion, with a light that must be used to illuminate pillars around the National Mall. As soon as all pillars are lit, the tasks of Fortnite's "March Through Time" MLK Event are considered completed, and players receive a special D.C. '63 Spray Motives.
How Long Will the Fortnite "March Through Time" Event Be Available For?
The Fortnite "March Through Time" Event is available to players until August 31, 2022. So don't rush, you have almost a year to experience it and play through the event. The island is playable now, so you can jump in right away and start unlocking the free spray right away! Have fun!
