**5: Laguna**

Even though the skin itself is rather simplistic, this pack made it to our list because it includes **a pickaxe that is only available by purchasing the Laguna starter pack**. This pickaxe is a ukulele that fits the Hawaiian theme of the pack. How cool is that? (Image credit: Epic Games)

**Number 4: Seeker**

Inspired by the Yakuza style, the Street Serpent pack with Seeker is one of the best starter packs in the game. Seeker is simply a masked man with a hood. The colors used in this skin are mostly black with orange motifs and some red accents. (Image credit: Epic Games)

**3: Iris**

With an alternative vibe to many of the more aggressive-looking starter bundle options, the Iris starter bundle is arguably **one of the most colorful**. Iris has multiple styles: one with a hoodie and the other without. With blue hair and a multi-colored hoodie in pink, orange, and dark blue, this skin certainly stands out in the game. Yellowjacket Pack — **2: Yellow Jacket**

Inspired by the movie Kill Bill, the Yellow Jacket pack features **a unique character skin of the same name** with a bright yellow outfit and black highlights. Okay, admittedly, **Fortnite** was pretty uncreative here. The Diamond Diva is a one-to-one copy of the Athleisure Assassin. However, it is an insanely pretty skin and the pastel-colored elements of the Diamond Diva make you understand why it got its name. Fortnite has a plethora of cosmetic items that can be purchased to give players’ characters a unique look. While many of these items can be found as individual pieces in the store, some skins are available in packages with the accompanying back bling, glider, or harvesting tool.

One of the best options for new players is to purchase a Starter Pack. These packs contain a skin and some accompanying cosmetics, along with a small number of V-Bucks to get the player started. Each set costs about $5 USD, a real bargain considering that individual skins cost at least 800 V-Bucks in the item store (about $8 USD). There are a few different packs available, but they rotate through the store and are only available for a short time.
