Fortnite Winterfest is coming to an end soon, but Epic wouldn't be Epic if they didn't quickly come up with something new for Fortnite players. To make up for the recent server outages, they're once again hosting a Turbo Level Up weekend, where you'll have the chance to level up your Battle Pass faster than usual. On top of that, there's a free harvesting tool! Here come all the details.

What is a Fortnite Turbo Level-up weekend?

Fortnite first announced the Turbo Level Up weekends to the Fortnitemares event last year. As the name suggests, these only ever take place on certain weekends.

If you log into the game during these times, you'll unlock a Super Level XP bonus and level up faster as you play. Epic Games notes that the boost is free and that players can only get it during these special weekends. The last two Turbo Level Up weekends took place on the following dates:

  • From October 23, 01:00 CEST to October 25, 13:00 CEST
  • From October 30, 01:00 CEST to November 1, 12:00 CEST

When is the next Fortnite "Turbo Level Up" Weekend?

This time, only one Turbo Level Up weekend has been announced, where players can team up and complete their challenges while improving their Battle Pass progress. Here's the exact schedule:

  • From January 07, 01:00 CEST to January 10, 13:00 CEST.

How to get the free Crescent Shroom pickaxe?

Within this post, Epic also announced that all players who still log in within Fortnite Winterfest will get the new Crescent Shroom pickaxe completely free, even before it hits the item store. Here's what the fancy new harvesting tool looks like:
