The Honkai Star Rail lore is growing with each new version and character HoYoverse teases and releases. So far unknown factions are put into the spotlight and some pretty mysterious faces are coming out of the shadows. But beware and don’t let them fool you.
One of the upcoming Honkai Star Rail characters is named Sparkle, and she has definitely a pretty unique type of personality to say the least! However, next to being playful, she is also somewhat mysterious and likes to play games with you, without you even noticing it!
So who really is Sparkle, and should we keep an eye on the Masked Fools?
Honkai Star Rail Lore: Who Is Sparkle?
Sparkle is a character who has been around on various leak forums for quite some time now, but back then she was still known as Hanabi! It was unclear for a long time what Sparkle's exact name would be, but HoYoverse soon shed some light on the matter with the release of her official splash art, showing her real name being indeed Sparkle.
“I'm not exactly a person loaded with cool skills, and dreaming big isn't really my thing. But, ya know, my latest thing is… getting myself into the Genius Society! Ha, I'm so ready to give it a go. Reckon anyone will buy it?” — Sparkle
As mentioned a little earlier, Sparkle is a rather mysterious person who doesn't reveal much about herself, but when she does, you should always assume that it was all an act. Her life is a theatrical performance, and she loves nothing more than to slip into different roles and live life according to her very own rules.
All this makes her not only extremely exciting but also quite dangerous. Sparkle has many faces with which she makes people dance to her tune. She is not even slightly interested in money or her reputation, all she cares about is her very own form of show and amusement.
The Masked Fools
Like every other character in Honkai Star Rail, Sparkle belongs to a faction, and it's pretty obvious where she fits in! The Masked Fools are probably the only ones who would accept such an obscure person.
The Masked Fools follow the Path of The Elation, and thus also the Aeon Aha. So far, hardly anything has become publicly known about this strange faction, but I'm sure that will change very quickly with Sparkle's release.

Personally, I am super excited about Sparkle's release! I really love her weird vibe, and I bet she is a pretty funny person as well! However, I'm not sure if we can trust her …
