The new Souls-like game Lies of P is already extremely hyped and people can't wait to play it. But one important question still remains: will we be able to play Lies of P in a multiplayer or co-op mode with our friends?
Lies of P is coming out soon on September 19, 2023, and many are wondering whether this action-packed Souls-like game will only be available as a single-player adventure or if we can enjoy lying our way through Krat together with our friends in a multiplayer version.
Will Lies of P offer a co-op possibility, or are we doomed to go through this twisted world on our own? We've got the answers for you!
Lies of P: Multiplayer & Co-op
Although Lies of P has many incredible characters (with amazing voice actors to boot), it's a bit hard to imagine who else we could play as if we were to play with a friend by our side.
We don't even know who we can trust yet in Lies of P, nevertheless who is going to trust us. The game throws us into a web of mysteries, and we don't know yet who can help us out of it.
I'd presume that this is also a problem that Neowiz Games, the developers of Lies of P, encountered while developing the game. As fun as it can be to play in a co-op mode with friends, in a story driven game such as Lies of P, it can be hard to make a multiplayer mode feel natural to the environment.
As of now, at least, Lies of P is advertised as a single-player only game. We haven't been shown any design ideas for a multiplayer version of the game, and it doesn't seem like there will ever be an option to play in co-op mode.
Since Lies of P is a Souls-like game, Neowiz Games may have thought that the game would become too easy to play if we were able to play it co-op.
