Yesterday the T1 Invitational came to a conclusion. Check out all results and the winners of the big Valorant tournament.

They have come to stay. Gen.G recently created a Valorant Roster and it has introduced itself with a bang in the competitive scene of Valorant. Yesterday, May 4, they literally destroyed their renowned opponents - including Sentinels, Team brax, and Team Shroud. It was all well worth it because the winner was rewarded with $20,000 out of the total $25,000 prize pool - not bad for a game that has only recently entered its closed beta. The remaining $5,000 went to the second place.

The teams of the T1 Valorant Invitational

A total of eight teams fought for fame and glory at the T1 Valorant Invitational - and the $25,000. Six teams were invited to the event directly by T1, while two more rosters qualified via open qualifier matches.

Among the team members were well-known esports stars like Overwatch MVP Sinatraa, who recently switched to Valorant. Shroud and Brax had already changed over earlier and competed with their own rosters.

The complete list of participants of the T1 Invitational:

The tournament

The first matches were marked all decided with 2-0 and the winners quickly secured their ticket to the second round - Gen.G, mouseSpaz, Sentinels and Team brax. Team Shroud also did well at first but was then outclassed by mouseSpaz. Sentinels could only score one victory. The big final was between Gen.G. and Team brax. The two had already fought it ought before in the winner's finals and Gen.G. came out victorious. The grand finals gave us more of the same, but brax managed to put up more of a fight this time.

With this victory in the T1 Valorant Invitational, Gen.G was able to take home the $20,000 and beat brax. Here are also the top four at the event:

  1. Gen.G - $20,000
  2. Team Brax - $5, 000
  3. MouseSpaz
  4. Team Shroud

Team Sonii and Sentinels both share the 5-6th place while Team Kurt and Prospects place at 7-8th right behind them.

We're looking forward to more tournaments of Riot's new tactical shooter and congratulate Gen.G on their first success in what's promising to be a highly competitive title. There's still time until the game's official launch which is scheduled for the summer of 2020. Until then we've got you covered with all the Valorant news on EarlyGame.
