Keeping Up with the Joneses 2016 Gal Gadot — 15. Keeping Up with the Joneses (2016)

Greg Mottola has directed genuinely sharp comedies, which makes this bland suburban spy farce feel even stranger. Its entire joke is that Jon Hamm and Gal Gadot are suspiciously attractive neighbors; after establishing that, the screenplay simply repeats it while waiting for gunfire. Gadot’s deadpan delivery occasionally lands, particularly opposite Isla Fisher, but Natalie is more luxury-magazine pose than comic character. Cropped Criminal — 14. Criminal (2016)

*Criminal* gathers Kevin Costner, Gary Oldman, Tommy Lee Jones, Ryan Reynolds, and Gadot for a thriller that still feels destined for the supermarket bargain bin. The memory-transfer premise is ridiculous but usable; the real problem is a screenplay that treats shouting as momentum. As Jill Pope, Gadot does respectable work with grief and fear, particularly when her husband’s memories begin surfacing inside a violent stranger. Netflix clearly wanted its own *Mission: Impossible*, and *Heart of Stone* feels as though the request passed through six committees before reaching the screen. Rachel Stone is an elite Charter operative protecting a predictive AI, yet the screenplay gives her fewer distinctive traits than the computer. Gadot is physically credible and handles the stunt-heavy material without embarrassment, but charisma cannot substitute for personality indefinitely. The locations change, the explosions grow, and almost nothing leaves an impression. It is not incompetent; it commits the more expensive sin of being completely anonymous. | © Netflix

Cropped Red Notice — 12. Red Notice (2021)

Despite all the money visibly thrown at it, *Red Notice* frequently resembles three celebrities performing inside an unusually elaborate perfume commercial. Dwayne Johnson plays immovable confidence, Ryan Reynolds unloads recycled sarcasm, and Gadot glides through the middle as the Bishop, an art thief who is smarter than both. She is easily the most entertaining part, embracing the villainy with a lightness her co-stars rarely manage. The movie moves quickly and can be fun in a disposable way, but calling this hollow collection of star personas genuinely good would be laundering stolen goods. | © Netflix

11. Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)

Nearly everything the first movie handled cleanly becomes confused here. The Dreamstone follows whichever rules the current scene requires, Steve Trevor’s return creates a morally bizarre body-swap romance, and Cheetah receives half a character arc before becoming digital fur. Gadot remains sincere throughout, especially when Diana must choose between private happiness and everyone else’s survival. That earnestness keeps several moments alive, while Pedro Pascal contributes enough frantic energy for three sequels. Cropped Knight and Day — 10. Knight and Day (2010)

The awkward truth is that *Knight and Day* is reasonably entertaining, but Gadot barely participates in it. Naomi appears as an associate of arms dealer Antonio Quintana, conducts a short meeting with Tom Cruise’s Roy Miller, and then essentially evaporates from the movie. Cruise carries the action comedy by turning his usual invincible-agent persona into something cheerfully unhinged, while Cameron Diaz makes the endless panic watchable. The story becomes increasingly mechanical, yet James Mangold maintains a playful pace. Treating Naomi as a major Gadot role, however, would require some creative bookkeeping. | © 20th Century Fox

Cropped Fast Furious — 9. Fast & Furious (2009)

This franchise revival reunited Dom and Brian but somehow decided that brown filters, drug tunnels, and constant scowling represented maturity. The action is serviceable, the plot is forgettable, and most of the dialogue sounds as though it was recorded through clenched teeth. Gadot makes her international-film debut as Gisele Yashar, a composed liaison for Arturo Braga who eventually helps Dom locate him. The character receives little development, but her quiet confidence registers immediately. Triple 9 2016 1 — 8. Triple 9 (2016)

John Hillcoat knows how to make criminal desperation look sweaty, ugly, and genuinely dangerous. *Triple 9* contains brutal shootouts and an excellent police raid, but its enormous cast leaves the story fighting for oxygen between Casey Affleck, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Anthony Mackie, Kate Winslet, and several other recognizable faces. Gadot suffers most from that overcrowding. Elena Vlaslov connects Ejiofor’s Michael to the Russian mob through their son, yet she is treated as leverage rather than a person. The thriller is solidly nasty; her role is little more than attractive connective tissue. | © Open Road Films

Cropped Death on the Nile — 7. Death on the Nile (2022)

Kenneth Branagh’s second Poirot mystery is polished in the same way an expensive hotel lobby is polished: everything gleams, but very little feels alive. Gadot is well cast as Linnet Ridgeway-Doyle, an heiress whose beauty, fortune, and new husband have made nearly everyone aboard the steamer resent her. She convincingly projects privilege and social control, although the heavier emotional exchanges expose some stiffness in her delivery. The mystery remains watchable, the costumes do considerable labor, and Branagh’s mustache remains undefeated. It is respectable entertainment, albeit strangely airless. | © 20th Century Studios

Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice 2016 1 — 6. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

*Batman v Superman* feels like three unfinished movies wrestling in a rain-soaked parking lot. Zack Snyder crams together a Superman sequel, a Batman reboot, a philosophical debate, and several advertisements for future DC projects, then expects one notorious shared first name to untangle everything. Gadot survives the wreckage by saying relatively little. When Wonder Woman finally enters the Doomsday battle, her confidence and explosive theme briefly give the movie the excitement it has been threatening for two hours. Cropped Fast Furious 6 — 5. Fast & Furious 6 (2013)

The sixth installment understands that franchise absurdity works best when everyone plays it completely straight. Tanks crush traffic, cars attack airplanes, and the final runway apparently stretches across several countries, yet Justin Lin keeps the ridiculous machinery moving with admirable confidence. Gadot receives considerably more to do as Gisele, drawing on the character’s intelligence background while deepening her understated romance with Han. Her apparent sacrifice to save him gives the chaos a surprisingly effective emotional consequence. Cropped Zack Snyders Justice League — 4. Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)

The Snyder Cut is unquestionably better than the theatrical *Justice League*, although clearing that bar hardly requires superhuman strength. Its four-hour runtime permits actual character development, restores Cyborg as the story’s emotional center, and gives Diana more authority within the team. Gadot benefits from Snyder’s operatic approach; Wonder Woman should look mythic, and here she usually does. The endless slow motion, chanting, and apocalyptic imagery remain exhausting, while several scenes desperately needed an editor with no emotional attachment to them. Cropped Ralph Breaks the Internet — 3. Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018)

The internet references began aging before the movie left theaters, but the friendship underneath them remains surprisingly perceptive. Gadot voices Shank, a formidable racer from Slaughter Race who recognizes Vanellope’s ambition without treating her as competition. Freed from having to communicate through poses, costumes, and action choreography, Gadot sounds relaxed and naturally funny. Shank could easily have been another disposable celebrity cameo; instead, she becomes the mentor Vanellope actually needs. *Fast Five* is the moment a fading street-racing franchise reinvented itself as a muscular heist series and somehow made the transformation look obvious. Gadot’s Gisele is a supporting player, but she uses every scene well, particularly when obtaining Hernan Reyes’ handprint and beginning her quietly charming relationship with Han.
