What Is We Were The Lucky Ones About?
As mentioned before, the series is inspired by a true story. It tells the tale of the Kurc family, who are Jewish and from Poland, and how they got separated during World War II. Now, they're trying to find each other again.
The story starts in 1939 in Poland. As the Nazis come closer to the family's home, the Kurcs try their best to live a normal life despite the challenges of the war.The series won't be just entertaining, but for sure also educational by showing how rough life was back in the 20th century.
