Robin Williams' Genie is one of the most iconic animated performances in Disney history. It would have been a tall order for anyone who wished to step into that role. Unfortunately, that responsibility fell squarely on Dan Castellaneta after an alleged contract dispute between Disney and Williams. Best known as the voice of Homer Simpson, Castellaneta featured as the Genie in The Return of Jafar and the Aladdin television series. Rachelle Lefevre played Victoria in the first two Twilight movies before Bryce Dallas Howard suddenly took over for Eclipse. She declined to return for Tomb of the Dragon Emperor largely due to the recent birth of her child. Maria Bello was then recast for the role.
