Bow
This classic mid-range weapon uses a variety of attacks to shoot while dodging the Monsters. You can also hit the monster with a Tracer and your arrows will home in on the target. With the new focus mode, you will be able to firing multiple arrows into the monster's weak point. | © Capcom
Great Sword
The most iconic weapon of the franchise is a must-have for every Monster Hunter. This slow but high-damage weapon allows you to break attacks from the monsters and also block some of their attacks. It's the kind of weapon that's easy to learn but hard to master. | © Capcom
Hammer
Even though this weapon is very heavy, our hunter can slide and spin around his hammer to hit and even stun the monster. You can also charge your attack for a massive attack. | © Capcom
Charge Blade
This special weapon can switch between two modes. In sword and shield mode, you can charge your weapon by hitting the monster. If you want to unleash the weapon's full power, you can release the charge in axe mode. You'll be less mobile in the axe mode, but you'll do a lot more damage! | © Capcom
Dual Blade
Those small blades look like razor blades to the monster, but don't underestimate them. This weapon lets you enter Demon Mode to boost your damage. For maximum damage, you can go further for Arch demon Mode. The Dual Blades also let you jump around and on top of the monster, which makes you look more like a ninja tan a hunter, but who cares. | © Capcom
Lance
One of the most defensive weapons lets you hit your opponent with quick and safe attacks. The shield also gives you a way to defend yourself and knock the monster back. | © Capcom
Gunlance
This weapon combined a defensive shield with a lance that could deal explosive damage at long range thanks to its cannon. Perhaps not a common weapon, but effective. | © Capcom
Heavy Bowgun
Who would have thought that this just shoots ammunition and gets a little surprise with this bowgun? As with every weapon, you charge your weapon when you land a hit and over time. After that, you can expand energy in the Infantry Mode to fire special ammo. The trailer also showed a giant explosive shot, so who knows what weapon it can do. | © Capcom
Insect Glaive
This weapon is probably the most special in the game. With the glaive, you can attack the monster and also control a creature called Kinsect. The Kinsect helps you harvest the monster and earn some great buffs. With the glaive, you can jump into the air and perform some crazy jumping attacks. | © Capcom
Light Bowgun
The Light Bowgun is a smaller version of the Heavy Bowgun. It fires faster and it's easier to dodge, but it doesn't do as much damage. | © Capcom
Long Sword
This game's anime weapon is pretty impressive. You can charge the weapon with normal hits to unleash some pretty cool moves that look like they're straight out of an anime. You can even counter incoming attacks with a well-timed attack of your own. | © Capcom
Switch Axe
This weapon is similar to the Charge Blade, and it has two modes that you can switch between. The first one is Axe Mode, which is perfect for heavy, long-range attacks. The second one is Sword Mode, which is for faster attacks. This weapon doesn't really have any defensive options, so you'll do best by dodging the monster. | © Capcom
Sword And Shield
This smaller weapon is one of the most agile weapons in the franchise. You can attack with your sword and also attack and stun the monster with your shield. You can also use items while your weapon is drawn, which you can't do with other weapons. | © Capcom
Hunting Horn
This weapon is perfect for the 0.001% nice person who doesn't want to do big damage. Instead, you'll perform melodies and echo bubbles by swinging (and attacking), which leads to a buff for the whole group. It's the only support weapon in the game, but if you choose this weapon, every team will want you on it. | © Capcom
Focus Mode
The focus mode lets you highlight the wounds you and the other hunters made on the monster. The wound will be glowing red, and attacking this wound will do extra damage, so keep an eye out for some nice damage. You can also do a special and unique focus strike, which is different for each weapon type. | © Capcom
