It's a shame to have to put this game last because it's really not bad. The problem is that since its release, Fallout Tactics has had all sorts of bugs, crashes, and errors. Additionally, deviating from the classic formula of its predecessors has cost it dearly. It's true that the Brotherhood of Steel is one of the most iconic factions in the series, but sometimes it's better to have them as secondary characters rather than protagonists... | © Bethesda

7. Fallout 76

In retrospect, it's easy to say that Fallout 76 was not a good idea. Although we were excited at first, Bethesda is known for its many bugs. And giving them an MMO project? Well, it was a recipe for disaster, and there are several documentaries on the internet detailing the entire story of this game's failure. Although it's much more stable today, it has already lost the initial hype it had. And maybe is for the best, since Fallout is better enjoyed as a personal, single-player experience. | © Bethesda

It's a position it doesn't deserve, but the reality is that from here on out, we start getting into the gems. The problem with Fallout Shelter is that it's a different kind of game compared to the rest, focusing on managing your own vault, ensuring that water and electricity don't run out, and defending your inhabitants from raiders. Sounds good, right? The only problem is that it's a small mobile game that can't compete under the shadow of the rest. But as a management game, it's not bad at all! | © Bethesda

5. Fallout 3

Many will hate me for putting Fallout 3 so far from the top spots, but the truth is that the most fun parts of this game... are hidden. Those missions and vaults that stay in your memory? Yes, almost all of that are side missions in the corners of the map. In contrast, the main mission lacks decisions that test your moral compass, something very characteristic of this franchise. Additionally, it has the worst final boss fight, and the ending is definitely very anticlimactic. | © Bethesda

4. Fallout 4

Yes, I think Fallout 4 is better than 3... but just by a little. The main story suffers from the same problems as the third installment, but its DLCs are much more fun. Moreover, with releases like Fallout London on the horizon, and a whole modding community supporting the game, you can create a more enjoyable experience than the original game. It's just a shame that we have to download and install it separately.

Ah, the top 3... It was hard to put the OG Fallout in third place, considering it has the best story and the best villain by far (the final conversation with The Master is brilliant). In fact, the very introduction of the game is excellent, reminding you how small and weak you are in this world the first time you travel west and get gunned down by super mutants. The only reason it doesn't reach the top spot isn't because of its flaws, but because the others are simply better. | © Bethesda

Am I one of those Fallout: New Vegas fanboys? Well, yes, yes I am, and it's impossible not to be. That moral compass I mentioned earlier? New Vegas handles it brilliantly. Ally with the NCR, a political system that caused the nuclear apocalypse in the first place, so we know doesn't work? Or join Caesar and his authoritarian and slave-holding legions that maintain the Pax Romana? Maybe you want to side with Mr. House and create your anarcho-capitalist empire? Or perhaps you even want to be the ruler of Nevada yourself if you think you can do it better! It's everything I wanted from Fallout 3, partner. Meaningful decisions... | © Bethesda

The game that separates the boys from the men. Is it better than its predecessor? Well, yes, because Fallout 2 does everything Fallout 1 does, but better. Is it better than New Vegas? Well, I'd say it's a matter of taste, but the refined combat experience and the small yet significant experiences in the post-apocalypse make Fallout 2 stand out above the rest.
