Iris is one of the many character ascension materials you need for ascending playable Resonators like Calcharo and others in Wuthering Waves.
Unlike most materials that often come in the form of enemy or boss drops, you can collect Iris from the overworld if you know where to find it.

Wuthering Waves Iris Location
In Wuthering Waves, you can find a ton of Iris flowers all around the Whining Aix's Mire location. It is one of the best spots to farm Iris in the game, as you can see in the above map screenshot.
Also, the best part about this location and farming Iris is that you have Resonance Beacons all around. So once you have unlocked them, you can teleport freely from one Beacon to another and farm the nearby Iris with the help of the above map.
That aside, you can also join co-op sessions in Wuthering Waves to farm Iris in another player's game session and keep repeating the process until you have enough Iris to ascend your Resonator.
Moreover, if you don't need Iris on an immediate basis, you can also wait for the Wuthering Waves server reset, as after that, you farm Iris from the same location and keep repeating.
