25 Famous Actors Who Died Too Soon
6. The Final Destination (released 2009)
The Final Destination is definitely the lowest point for the series, it's short, sloppy, and loaded with cheap CGI. With no suspense, forgettable deaths, and zero surprises, it plays more like a lazy recap than a real sequel. | © New Line Cinema
5. Final Destination (released 2000)
Final Destination starts strong with a nerve-wracking premonition of a plane explosion that sets the whole series in motion. The rest of the movie is messier and full of absurd deaths, but the core idea of death as an invisible force still felt fresh at the time. | © New Line Cinema
4. Final Destination 3 (released 2006)
Final Destination 3 rehashes the same formula with less tension and even fewer surprises. The deaths are gory, sure, but when that’s the only thing holding the movie together, it starts to feel more like a checklist than a horror film. | © New Line Cinema
3. Final Destination 2 (released 2003)
The highway pile-up scene is pure chaos and one of the most brutal openings in horror history. Final Destination 2 leans into absurdity and black comedy, delivering some of the wildest deaths in the franchise with zero apologies. | © New Line Cinema
2. Final Destination 5 (released 2011)
The bridge collapse opener is jaw-dropping in Final Destination 5, and the twist ending is easily the smartest the series has ever pulled off. Despite some flat characters and clunky dialogue, the kills are wild, creative, and just the right kind of messed up. | © New Line Cinema
1. Final Destination Bloodlines (released 2025)
Final Destination Bloodlines marks the return of the legendary franchise with a cleaner look and a tighter grip on logic, even if realism takes a hard hit. This movie is less gory, more supernatural, and leans hard on sound and tension to keep you on edge. | © New Line Cinema
