Bridgerton Season 4: Everything We Know
After the first three seasons of Bridgerton were incredibly successful, captivating millions of fans, the next one is already making its way up the alley. Now that we got a few infos on what, and most importantly WHO to happen in season 4, fans are getting more hyped by the day.
According to a small teaser that Netflix gave us right after season 3 came out, season 4 is finally going to introduce Benedict Bridgerton to the marriage mart! But more about that later... let's focus on the WHEN and HOW's, first.
Bridgerton Season 4 Release Estimation
So far, all of Bridgerton's seasons came out in a very regular order, and that is every two years. The first season premiered in December 2020, the second one came in 2022 and the most recent third season was released in two parts, which premiered on May 16 and June 13, 2024.
With all of those dates in mind, we expect Bridgerton Season 4 to release in the second half of 2026.
What Plot Threads Are We Expecting?
Due to the fact that all of Bridgerton is based on a book series , it is actually not too hard to determine what is going to happen next. Although Netflix is still making some individual decisions especially on the looks and traits of certain characters, the main plot is pretty accurate to the things happening in the books, which has been proven in the past seasons.
Just recently, Netflix was kind enough to give us a little teaser for season 4, confirming what has been foreshadowed in the past season: Benedict Bridgerton will finally enter the marriage mart in season 4. According to Netflix, he searches for a mysterious woman called the Lady in Silver, a woman that he first met at Violet Bridgerton's masquerade ball.
Another plotline that we are all waiting for is Francesca’s love story. Yes, season 3 already showed us her journey on the marriage mart. But anyone who has read the books knows that season 3 has just scratched the surface of what is to come. And without spoiling anything, I'm just going to say that she also has some things to find out about herself.
Lastly, with the way season 3 has ended, Bridgerton season 4 is going to be quite different in terms of Lady Whistledown's narrative. Now the whole society knows who she is and what she has done in the past. So, seeing how Penelope Bridgerton handles everything from now on is going to be very interesting.
Bridgerton 4: Old & New Cast
As far as the cast is concerned, there is not much new to say. All previous characters will continue to be portrayed by the same actors. However, we do know that some new characters will be joining the series – first due to a casting call that got leaked, now with the official announcement by Netflix.
