Jack Reacher is coming back to Amazon for Season 3! Prime Video has already confirmed the third season, even before the second one finished up, and it’s easy to see why. Jack Reacher – admired by men for his rugged independence and adored by women for his charm and, let’s be honest, irresistibly good looks. This portrayal of Reacher captures the essence that Tom Cruise’s version didn’t quite achieve (no fault of his own!). Now, the enigmatic ex-major stands as one of Amazon’s most iconic characters. Fortunately, the show is set to return for a third season!
As the show is based on Lee Child's book series , Amazon's got source material for decades to come – it is rather long, so they won't run out of adventures to adapt to our screens. Season 1 was Killing Floor , Season 2 tackled Back Luck and Trouble (alternative title: Story of my Life...) and we already know which book Season 3 will be based on – but one thing at a time.
Reacher's back at it again in February
Alan Ritchson's Reacher returns to our screens on February 20, exclusively on Prime Video to beat up some more bad guys and solve another case. New year, new season – just like we're used to now, but don't take it for granted!
Reacher's returning & new cast
What would Reacher be without the man himself, Alan Ritchson? Nothing, I say! Obviously, he'll return to pick up the lead role again, just to make me happy – so kind of him. Also at his side once again will be Maria Sten as Frances Neagley.
Additions to the cast are Sonya Cassidy and Anthony Michael Hall, as announced by Amazon. Cassidy will play Susan Duffy, a witty, clever and tough DEA agent – could that be someone Reacher shows some more interest in than a strict business acquaintance...?
Hall has been cast as Zachary Beck, a widowed and pretty successful businessman and single father to his adult son Richard. Jack Reacher needs to take a closer look at him because his rug import company seems to cover up some shady business.
And our new villain to hate and for Reacher to stop will be portrayed by Olivier Richters as Paulie – be careful, man, you've messed with the wrong person. You can also look forward to Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold and Roberto Montesinos.

The upcoming third season of Reacher is based on the seventh book of Lee Child's series: Persuader . Without giving too much away, here's what's to come.
Following an unexpected run-in with a former foe, Reacher is once again fuelled by revenge and sets out to settle a decade-old vendetta. In dire straits, Reacher infiltrates a criminal organization and has to use his cunning and experience once again to stay undercover to get his vengeance.
