Hearthstone, arguably the most influential digital card game and one of the biggest in esports is celebrating 6 years since its official launch. How? With a special event and login bonuses.

It’s crazy to think that it’s been 6 whole years since the Tavern opened doors. Despite its recent decline in numbers and especially the disaster that was the infamous Blitzchung controversy, Hearthstone is undoubtedly one of the most influential, well-produced and frankly, fun card games in the world. The creators Blizzard Entertainmentare celebrating the occasion with a special event.

Login bonus

Starting today and continuing all the way through to March 17, every player who simply logs in the game will receive a special celebratory bundle:

  • 2 Rise of Shadows packs
  • 2 Saviors of Uldum packs
  • 2 Descent of Dragons packs

You will also win an exclusive Year of the Dragon card back in blazing yellow and orange, sporting a menacing-looking dragon head underneath the trademark Hearthstone symbol. The reward is available to all players and regions.

  • March 4: Play 2 games in any mode to earn a Descent of Dragons card pack.
  • March 5: Play 20 cards to earn a Rise of Shadows and Saviors of Uldum card pack.
  • March 6: Take 30 turns to earn a Rise of Shadows and Saviors of Uldum card pack.

Tavern Brawl

Blizzard is also bringing back two Tavern Brawl formats popular with fans – namely, the Burndown! Brawl and the Hall of Champions Brawl.

In Burndown!, players will be given a random pre-constructed deck to play. The loser of each brawl will receive the deck they were beaten with. In the end, one deck will be proven the best.
