League of Legends Patch 10.22 didn't really change anything for the Support Meta. It has stayed rather even throughout the last few weeks of Season 10, which goes to show that there are so many viable and good choices for Support. We've taken a look and decided upon the Top 5, which you should try out before the end of the season!

In this LoL tier list, we'll show you the best champions for each lane. We especially focus on win rate and the carry potential because you often have to carry your teammates in any given game. Today, we will take a look at the Support position.

Which Support Picks Are Strong in LoL Patch 10.22?

5. Soraka (Win Rate: 52.2%)

Soraka is the champion for you if you wish to outsustain the opponent. She has multiple heals in her kit as well as some cc with her E – Equinox. The best part about Soraka though is her cross-map healing. Keeping an eye on your allies' health is key here since you won’t always be right next to them. Keep checking to make sure everyone is healthy and if you see a few low health bars you can save them by simply pressing R – Wish. Overall Soraka is one of the strongest support champions in the current patch.

4. Yuumi (Win Rate: 50.0%)

Yuumi is a unique champion since she is able to just chill and sit on the shoulder of her ADC. We do believe her healing abilities as well as poke has made her one of the more valuable Support Champions in the current meta. She is able to take two aggressive Summoner Spells since she doesn’t need escape spells. Picking Exhaust and Ignite is key. One thing to note though is to be careful of your mana, which is why we suggest picking up Manaflow Band as one of her runes.

3. Janna (Win Rate: 52.7%)

Janna has incredible lane presence. Her passive gives her ADC added movement speed which can help them play aggressively in the lane while feeling relatively safe to kite back to her. She can also disengage from any situation thanks to her Q – Howling Gale – which will keep her very safe. Thanks to the movement speed passive Janna can also roam from lane to lane, which most might not suspect since it’s normally supports like Bard or Alistar who show up for surprise ganks.

2. Lulu (Win Rate: 51.1%)

Lulu hasn’t changed much with that nerf she got for Patch 10.22. As a support, Lulu will max her Q – Glitterlance – last, which is why the nerf to the damage in the later stages of the game will have almost no effect on this champion when it comes to the support role. Lulu, as we’ve mentioned before, just has everything you want in a support. She can buff up her allies, slow her opponents and just help bully others out of lane.

She is an amazing asset in a teamfight, her ultimate is able to buff up frontline tanks to even greater strength. Lulu is a strong champion in all phases of the game. Her shields will come in clutch at any time and almost no other support has been able to come close to her oppressiveness.

1. Leona (Win Rate: 50.6%)

Leona has become the ultimate pick when it comes to support. She is able to cc just about anyone with the multiple slows and stuns in her kit. She is very threatening in the early stages of the game when the opponents haven’t had time to build any items yet, which means they’ll have to play with respect at all times whenever Leona is around. One E + W combo and they’re probably dead.

In the late game, Leona is also a strong frontline champion who can tank up quite a bit of damage while her backline dishes out the pain. She is an essential part of a teamfight, helping her own ADC peel off any danger. Stick close to our ADC and keep them safe.
