We are eagerly awaiting League of Legends Wild Rift. After the closed beta phase in some regions, the game will go into open beta in just under a week. There is also new information regarding the European region.

With League of Legends Wild Rift, Riot Games wants to conquer the smartphone market as the test phase of Wild Rift is now going into the next round. After the closed beta in a few regions, including Malaysia and Indonesia, the game now officially enters the open beta.

As of October 23, the game will be offline before the open beta servers go online on October 27. However, it will still only be available in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Japan, and South Korea. So far only these regions will be able to play the mobile offshoot of the MOBA classic.

Information About Europe and North America

But there is also good news for the other regions. As Riot has now announced, the open beta should come to Europe at the end of December! Even though an exact date has not been fixed, we now have the first clue for when the launch will be in our region. We can expect more information after the first weeks of the open beta.

Players from North America will have to wait a little longer, with the open beta probably not starting until Spring 2021. Currently, Riot is focusing on the stability of the servers before they are launched in several regions simultaneously. In addition, the new test phase will add more champs to Wild Rift like Akali, Darius, and Draven.

With this latest news, the planned release date of Wild Rift at the end of 2020 seems to be dead in the water. In view of recent developments, a release is unlikely to take place before the first quarter of 2021. But now European players can soon test the game and we will keep you up to date with the latest news as it develops.
