There is no better feeling in League of Legends than to get a pentakill. If you manage this feat in the late game, you've practically won the game already – unless you're playing against Akshan that is. Have you managed a penta this season? If not, then we've got the tier list for you right here!
If you want to get a pentakill in League of Legends, the champion you play will have to fill a few criteria, one of which is that you have to be able to survive long fights, so sustain/lifesteal is key, as well as one-shot combos. You'll also want to be able to dodge anything coming your way or play a champion with a reset, like Darius, Samira, Katarina and Viego.
Which Champ Makes the Most Pentakills?
In Riot Games' own round table question 'Ask Riot', the developers answered our burning question of which champion makes the most pentakills. They looked at solo and duo queue stats to answer and well... it's not surprising who is on the list:
1. Samira is the Queen of Pentakills!
Samira sits at the top of the pentakill leaderboard with a solid 0.018 pentakills per game. And this is taking all elos into account. So if you want that sweet pentakill, read our Samira guide, and you'll be climbing the solo queue ranks with ease – and doing so with style.

1.1 Master Yi Shares First Place with Samira
Master Yi is a force to be reckoned with – especially in lower elos – thanks to the Q reset as well as his late game damage. It's not a surprise that he also manages 0.018 pentakills per game, putting him even with Samira.

2. Katarina Comes a Close Second
0.015 pentakills per game, and she is also a reset champion! Katarina can dodge, jump, reset... everything you need when you want to make a difference in the late game.

So, if you're looking to score big, then we suggest picking up reset champs in your next solo queue match. Being able to have a game-deciding ultimate in your back pocket is an insane advantage to have over other champions.
This Isn't How You Will Make a Pentakill...
What you should just forget about playing, if you want to get a pentakill, are enchanters or tank supports. Soraka, Braum, Rell and Taric have managed a whopping 0 pentakills! At least that's what Riot said after looking through their solo and duo queue data. Personally, I've also never witnessed Braum jumping into the backline and bashing his shield into enemies to get a penta....

Even if you're thinking: "Well duh... this is low elo." Then think again! These three champions – Master Yi (0,017), Samira (0,015) and Katarina (0,011) also have the highest number of pentakills in diamond and higher!
