The Brazilian squad, led by the legendary Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo, showcased resilience and skill, bouncing back after a dismal opening map to seal the reverse sweep. The victory marks FalleN's first win over Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz, BIG's in-game leader, in eight years - a personal milestone for the veteran captain.

BIG are one game away from elimination in Shanghai!

BIG Clan, who have to play the Opening Stage of the Shanghai Major, despite dominating the European RMR B 3-0, looked like the better team in the early stages of the encounter.

The series began on Nuke, FURIA's map pick, but it was the Germans who dominated. A standout performance from Karim "Krimbo" Moussa, who racked up 18 kills, propelled BIG to a commanding 13-5 victory.

FURIA appeared out of sync early on, but that changed on Mirage.

FURIA surged to an early 10-2 lead, yet, the Brazilians nearly fumbled their advantage as nerves began to creep in. BIG rallied late in the map, pushing it to a nail-biting conclusion, before FURIA ultimately closed it out, 13-11, forcing the decider.

Long considered a stronghold for BIG, Dust2 instead became a stage for their collapse. FURIA delivered a clinical performance, completely dismantling the Germans with superior coordination and individual brilliance. The Brazilian side's dominance highlighted their preparation and adaptability, leaving BIG searching for answers in a devastating loss.

BIG Clan only managed a total of 3 rounds all map long. FalleN, as well as FURIA's most recent addition, Felipe "skullz" Medeiros, were just sharper and left no room for errors.

BIG now face a do-or-die matchup in the 2-2 pool against Complexity tomorrow. The stakes are high: the winner advances to the Elimination Stage, while the loser is eliminated from the Shanghai Major.

The stage is set for another intense showdown tomorrow, 4AM CET, with everything on the line for both BIG and Complexity. Will BIG Clan bounce back, or will their Shanghai journey end in heartbreak?
