The Singapore based org is actively looking into the process of acquiring not one but two academy rosters. This quickly does remind Counter-Strike fans of the infamous Evil Geniuses project.

BLEED has only entered Counter-Strike 10 months ago. Over this timespan, the Singapore based org already tried 9 different players on their roster.
What is BLEED's plan to improve its CS2 division?
They apparently add 2 academy teams at once to their portfolio. This information has been leaked by Russian insider solutioN00 on Twitter/X.
He further explained, that one of those compositions is set to be consisting of strictly CIS players, i.e. Russian speaking, whilst the other one will be filled with players from Europe and therefore speak English.
It is quite common for big E-sports orgs to feature an academy roster these days. However, having 2 and a total of 3 rosters under contract is almost unprecedented.
There was exactly one of those occasions before: Evil Genuises. The American org tried this for one year, starting in the summer of 2022, and failed miserably.

What is important to note here, is that BLEED's coach Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović used to constantly criticize EG for this and other management miscues during his time as an ESL desk analyst.
And i want to clarify one thingI have nothing against @EvilGeniuses players and coaches, i know they are doing their best. All this is directed to the incompetent upper managment from the org , this is 100% their fault.Keep working hard @Brehze @autimaticTV and co.

Now he apparently becomes the man in charge of a similar project.
kassad jokingly even put a bounty on EG back then, hoping they would fail to qualify for the Major.
The team that eliminates EG from the RMR Closed qualifier will receive a $1,000 prize from me.

It remains to be seen whether this will indeed happen or not and what this will mean for BLEED's main roster, which is down to just 3 players right now.
Nemanja "nexa" Isaković was benched, after BLEED missed out on the Shanghai Major, whilst AWPer Tim "nawwk" Jonasson was loaned out to fnatic.
EG shut down their CS project entirely with the start of 2024, we can only hope BLEED will find some more success with a similar approach.
In 2024, Evil Geniuses will exit the Counter-Strike scene. From multiple trophy lifts to incredible players championing our name, we are extremely grateful for the legacy we built in Counter-Strike over the last two decades. This past year, we had an amazing group of players,...

What do you think of this move by BLEED? Will kassad prove everyone wrong and be successful?
