Ariana Grande is about to enter one of the most dysfunctional movie families in movie history. After years of pop hits and a magical performance as Glinda in Wicked, Ariana is joining Meet the Parents 4.

A New Generation Enters The Madness

In Meet the Parents 4, Ariana is set to play the fiancée of Greg and Pam Focker’s now grown up son. The movie will explore what happens when the next generation brings home someone who is not afraid to speak her mind, challenge outdated traditions and maybe even match Jack Byrnes in intensity.

Ariana seems to be very excited about the role. On Instagram, she posted, “Very thrilled to be joining (meeting) the family!!!!!!!” Fans are happy to see her on the big screen and are hoping to see her in more movies.

Same Family, New Problems

Of course, a Meet the Parents film would not be complete without the original cast. Robert De Niro is back as the overprotective ex CIA father in law, Ben Stiller returns as Greg and Teri Polo and Blythe Danner round out the core family. With John Hamburg returning as both writer and director, fans can expect the same type of hilarious comedy, but updated for today’s family dynamics and generational changes.

Release Date

The film is scheduled for release in November 2026. Whether you are watching for the nostalgia, the humor or to see Ariana alongside an iconic cast – this sequel is going to be one of the most talked about comedies of the next year.
