Asmogold is known for dirty rooms, weird takes and in general being kinda gross. Now he has recieved a letter from the IRS detailing his almost $400k debt.

A Fateful Letter

The 36-year-old Twitch streamer had recently finally gotten his teeth fixed for $7000 due to them being rotten. Now, on April 19, another clip of his went viral in which he opens a letter he received from the IRS. He reads it on stream:

It says I owe them $397,000. So do you mind if I just take a photo of this and send it to my accountant real quick? I've gotta deal with this. Not a good day to be me.

The document reportedly also states "intent to sieze your property", to which Asmongold jokes that this would probably be convenient for him.

He then gets a little more somber when he finds out how much money he had to pay in total to the IRS this year, claiming it to be ten times the amount in question, so around $4 million.

He says it is going to be "worked out" and is not a big deal. Although he is "slightly flustered" and jokes about doing some "write offs".

His viewers don't seem to be very sympathetic. "He makes like $10k an hour, I don't think he cares" one writes on Reddit with others agreeing. "397k is not that much to him anyway."

Although some concede, that "intent to seize property" would fluster anyone, regardless if rich or not, and ask how the accountant could allow this to happen. With him saying it was not even a tenth of his payment this year, a lot of people also question how someone can possibly even owe that much. Some commenters criticise the streamer for boasting about being rich and previously saying he doesn't mind paying taxes, getting upset about "parasites" not contributing to now owe the IRS himself and "fluster" at this sum.

Many joke about his house being so dirty that it would be a blessing for him to get out of there. "Being forced to move out of that rats nest would be one of the best things to ever happen to him."

One day later, the issue seems to have resolved itself with Asmongold posting on X that it was an accounting error. Of course, he couldn't hold back and had to slide a controversial political comment in there as well.
