TikTok has created new mom vibes – and suddenly, everyone fits into a box.

From crunchy to silky, from “just almonds for breakfast” to “whatever’s quick” – here are the five mom types everyone’s talking about right now.

Find out which one you are – or which one you definitely don’t want to be.

Almond Mom

"Just eat a few almonds."

This mom believes that “hunger is just in your head.”

The term comes from an iconic moment on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, when Yolanda Hadid told her daughter Gigi to just eat a few almonds – one at a time.

Today, the Almond Mom on TikTok represents mothers who glorify diet culture, count calories, and pass on toxic body ideals – often without realizing it. They’ve become the symbol of a generation with a problematic relationship with food.

Crunchy Mom

"I make my own baby oil."

Pure nature! The Crunchy Mom loves everything organic, sustainable, and low-tech.

She’s all about cloth diapers, homeopathic remedies, breastfeeding until preschool age and playgrounds without smartphones.

She wants to do everything right, as naturally and authentically as possible. Sometimes her style is seen as elitist or over the top – but many still celebrate her as an eco-friendly role model with heart.

True story, Jason used to compliment my food by telling me it tasted so good it's like he was eating at a restaurant. I've rarely been so offended. #crunchymom #organic #pastries

Silky Mom

"I take whatever works."

Silky Moms are the exact opposite of Crunchy Moms – they love technology, efficiency, and convenience.

Baby food from a jar? Yes, please. iPad to fall asleep? If it helps! They trust science, rely on conventional medicine, and are simply pragmatic.

Their motto: As long as it works – whether with pacifiers, bottles, or YouTube kids' songs.

Scrunchy Mom

“Sometimes this way, sometimes that – depends.”

You breastfeed but also use bottles? You like eco stuff but order from Amazon? Congratulations – you’re Scrunchy.

Scrunchy Moms are the mix. They take whatever fits their daily life – without guilt.

No extremes, just a relaxed “Why not both?”

Boy Mom

“My son is my best friend.”

Boy Moms love their boys – often a little too much. TikTok is full of moms who tag themselves with #boymom and proudly share how wild, loud, and special their sons are.

Criticism? There is some. Many see it as holding on to traditional gender roles – and sometimes even a tendency to look down on daughters. Still, for many, it’s just a loving statement about the mother-son bond.

So, What About You? Team Almonds Or Team Screen Time?

Whether you brew your own fermented drinks or just order takeout, TikTok’s mom types show one thing above all: There is no single right way to be a mom. Between organic obsession and baby food, parenting guides and gut feeling, everyone finds their own path.

So: Which mom type are you – or who would you definitely NOT want to be?
