Just two mistyped letters led to one actor unexpectedly receiving the impressive bonus of an MCU hero. British actor Tom Hollander shared a humorous mix-up between himself and fellow actor Tom Holland on the show "Late Night with Seth Meyers."

Both actors ended up with the same agency for a short time, and as expected, due to their very similar names, there was some confusion when it came to paychecks.

When asked how Hollander deals with the fact that there's also an actor named Tom Holland, the 56-year-old actor shared some amusing anecdotes.

Not only did he tell stories of parents telling him their kids would be thrilled to meet him, only to find out he wasn't Spider-Man, but he also revealed that he once received an email from his agency with the subject line, "Payment advice, your first box office bonus, for The Avengers.

“It was an astonishing amount of money… And it was more money than I’d ever... It was a seven-figure sum.”

You may remember Hollander from his roles in "Pride & Prejudice," the "Pirates of the Caribbean" films, or "The White Lotus. He is currently making the press rounds in support of his upcoming project, "Feud: Capote vs. The Swans," in which he portrays Truman Capote.

It's a charming glimpse into the life of a well-known actor who seemed genuinely shocked by such sums of money. You can watch Hollander's full appearance on "Late Night With Seth Meyers" in the video below; skip to the 08:49 mark for his Tom Holland stories:
