Plaqueboymax's Grammy nomination might change how people see Twitch streamers outside of their industry.

From Twitch to the red carpet – streamer plaqueboymax got nominated for Best Dance / Electronic Recording.

Music Streamer Plaqueboymax

Plaqueboymax has taken Twitch by storm with his music streams. There, he streams himself working on music and showing all the steps to his Twitch audience, occasionally collaborating with other artists.

In 2025, at the annual streamer awards hosted by QTCinderella, plaqueboymax already won the award for Music Streamer of the Year. At that point, he was already aware of his Grammy nomination. In his acceptance speech, the streamer said:

Three years ago I started making music at my mama's crib and now I'm on a stage and nominated for a Grammy. It's an honor. Thank you.

And it makes sense why his career so far has developed the way that it has. With about 2.3 Million followers on Twitch, thousands of viewers on every stream and many streamed collaborations, plaqueboymax has built himself an audience that genuinely supports his art.

From Twitch To The Grammys

Plaqueboymax got nominated for Best Dance / Electronic Recording for his song Victory Lap with Fred again.. and Skepta. Though he did not end up winning his category, he did not seem too heartbroken about it. In true content-creator-fashion, plaqueboymax took his chat with him to experience the event. In his YouTube video about the experience, he comments on his loss:

Don't miss your next blessing 'cause [...] you're worried about your last loss.

Additionally, a Grammy nomination itself is already monumental, especially for an artist that just started making music about three years ago. Over the last few years the streaming world has grown more than anyone could have predicted, making plaqueboymax's story just another moving tale of what can be possible if you just commit to your craft.
