Twitch streamer Nitro_Camden has received support from one of the biggest names in streaming after his life changed dramatically during a viral livestream. Following a confrontation with his mother that was watched by thousands, Camden met IShowSpeed, who offered him some deeply personal advice.
IShowSpeed Tells Nitro_Camden To Follow His Dreams
Camden was originally streaming to just one viewer when StableRonaldo and Marlon raided his channel on August 20, bringing around 15,000 viewers to the stream. His excitement quickly turned into a disturbing family confrontation when his mother entered the room over the noise. The situation became physical, and Camden was later reportedly kicked out of his home.
Since then, several major creators have rallied around him. On August 24, IShowSpeed met Camden during his broadcast and immediately recognized him from the viral incident.
Speed then gave the young streamer some emotional advice. “Follow your dreams, bro,” Speed told him. He explained that he had experienced a similar situation himself, saying that his own mother had once wanted him to focus on school instead of streaming.
Speed also admitted that he struggled to watch the viral footage of Camden's confrontation because it reminded him too much of his own experiences.
“I couldn’t even watch that clip because it brought up too much,” he said. He encouraged Camden to keep pursuing what he wants to do and reminded him that he has himself to rely on.
Nitro_Camden’s Life Has Changed Overnight
The meeting appeared to become an emotional moment for Camden, who has gone from being an almost unknown streamer to one of the most talked-about creators on Twitch in just a few days.
His channel has now grown to nearly 300,000 followers, while he has reportedly been averaging around 8,200 viewers per stream since the incident. He has also been staying with friends following the situation at home.
