Amazon Prime’s superhero universe is expanding again, with Gen V returning this September for a second season that connects directly to the events of The Boys Season 4.

A Direct Fallout From The Boys

Gen V Season 2 will release on September 17, 2025, dropping the first three episodes at once. After that, new episodes will release weekly. The show picks up right where The Boys leaves off, in a version of the United States that has officially declared martial law, enforced by Homelander and his army of supes. With Vought tightening its grip, young heroes like Marie Moreau are caught in the middle. Season 1 ended with her and her friends locked away in mysterious conditions. Now, they are back in the spotlight, but the world is even more dangerous than before.

New Faces, New Threats & Crossovers

This season introduces a new character, Cipher, played by Hamish Linklater, who becomes the new dean of Godolkin University.

Marie, Jordan, Emma, and Cate are no longer just students. They are players in a much bigger political game, and every choice they make could mean life or death.

The lines between Gen V and The Boys are getting even more blurred. In the first trailer, fans spotted The Deep making a guest appearance. It is safe to expect even more cameos and connections as both shows build toward their shared universe's endgame.

Saying Goodbye To A Beloved Character

One emotional element that hangs over this season is the real–life passing of actor Chance Perdomo, who played Andre Anderson. The trailer suggests that Andre is either dead or missing, and the show will address his absence with respect. Fans are already bracing themselves for a heartbreaking goodbye.
