What To Expect
First, the plot sounds like the typical paranormal horror movie: A family moves to the countryside, just to then discover supernatural activities in their new home.
But the producers of Good Boy gave it a twist. Instead of following the humans fighting for their lives, the protagonist of this movie is a dog named Indy. And, as a man’s best friend, he must protect his loved ones from the dark forces surrounding them.
The trailer of Good Boy reveals not only the cute pup, but also the goosebump-inducing atmosphere of the movie. The camera angles, which allow us to see from the furry companion's perspective, further heighten the tension.
Fun fact: Co-writer and director Ben Leonberg cast his own family dog for the movie.

This question was going viral on Google search, after the movies‘ trailer had been released. Also, comments on the trailer all looked the same. Nobody wants the adorable dog to get hurt.
