The first trailer has been released.
Jeremy Allen White is playing Bruce Springsteen in the upcoming film Deliver Me From Nowhere.
A Film About The Making Of Nebraska
The movie focuses on the creation of Springsteen’s 1982 album Nebraska, a stripped down and personal project he recorded alone at home. Directed by Scott Cooper and based on Warren Zanes’ biography, the film focuses on the isolation, fear and creative freedom behind Nebraska. It is more character study than music spectacle, giving space to silence, grief and artistic honesty.

Jeremy Allen White’s Transformation For The Film
Known for his intense performance in The Bear and Shameless, Jeremy Allen White takes a major creative leap by stepping into the shoes of Bruce Springsteen. His portrayal is more than surface level – from the voice to the body language, the trailer shows emotional depth. Jeremy Allen White trained his voice to match Springsteen’s tone and worked closely with the director to capture the artist’s quieter, personal moments and not just his public persona.
The Cast
Jeremy Strong plays Springsteen’s longtime manager Jon Landau, while Paul Walter Hauser takes on the role of engineer Mike Batlan. Gaby Hoffmann and Stephen Graham appear as Bruce’s parents, and Odessa Young, Marc Maron and David Krumholtz round out the ensemble.
Bruce Springsteen’s Support
Springsteen himself visited the set and gave the team his blessing, but avoided being too present during the most emotional scenes. According to a recent interview, he wanted Jeremy Allen White to have space to bring his own interpretation without pressure. He even said that watching those moments would have been too painful, as they represent some of the darkest days of his life.
Deliver Me From Nowhere is set to premiere on October 24, 2025 in theaters.
