A new VALORANT agent is coming and Katseye made an appearance for his showmatch.
Many celebrities are gamers, including Megan of Katseye. After the girl group collaborated with VALORANT and made a song for the VALORANT game changers (an alternate version of their song M.I.A.) Katseye's Megan was recently invited to play in a showmatch for the newest agent.
The Tradition Of Showmatches
To showcase a new agent before they actually come out in game, VALORANT likes to host showmatches during their Champions Tour. The showmatch gets streamed for gamers around the whole world so they can see what the new agent looks like: What are their abilities? How do they work? Could they fit my own playstyle?
This time VALORANT decided to invite someone the fans seemed extremely excited to see: Katseye's Megan joined the game for the Masters Santiago Showmatch. The girl group member has explicitly stated that she likes playing the game on Pokimane's stream before. The scene was very heart warming: Her band mates hugged her before the match and made little signs they can hold up to support her while she was on the stage.
But What About The New Agent?
According to Forbes, the new agent Miks is from Croatia and a controller. The casters during the showmatch, however, said he is more of a hybrid between controller and initiator. And he looks promising:

And even in the showmatch, both the casters and the players seemed to have a lot of fun with Miks: He is said to be a very team-focused agent that might be really rough to play against. So if you have a duo you like to play VALORANT with, you don't mind playing smokes and you want to win, maybe give him a shot when he officially comes out on March 18, 2026.
