In a recent episode of Hot Ones, Madison Beer appeared as a guest and addressed Epic Games directly.

Madison Beer Speaks Her Mind About Fortnite

Madison Beer is primarily famous for her music. However, the singer-songwriter is also a passionate gamer who has her own Twitch channel with almost 740,000 followers. There, she enjoys playing games like Fall Guys and Fortnite. Naturally, the show’s host Sean Evans asked her about her preference between multiple games.

At first, he asked her to choose between Outlast, Fall Guys, and Dress to Impress, and which of them she preferred the most. However, she replaced Outlast with Fortnite to make the decision more challenging for herself. Even though she said that she really likes Fall Guys, especially because it is a game she has played a lot with her community, Fortnite is still probably her favorite.

Nonetheless, she was not just praising the game. On the contrary. In a short statement, she addressed Epic Games directly:

“I love Fortnite. They’ve changed it too much now, though. I’m a bit upset with you, Epic Games. Let’s speak really quickly, let’s get serious. Stop changing things that we love about Fortnite. Keep it original and give me a skin, please!”

Getting an Icon Skin is not just about having your face in the game. It is basically Epic Games’ way of saying that you matter in today’s pop culture. The people who get one are usually huge names in music, sports, or online entertainment. And it rarely stops at just the skin. Most of the time, these collaborations include special emotes or other cosmetics that match the person’s style, which makes the whole thing feel more personal. You just need to take a look at the people who have already received one: LeBron James, Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, Sabrina Carpenter, and IShowSpeed. All of these celebrities made it into the game due to their popularity and cultural influence.

So with Madison Beer being not only a world-famous singer but also a dedicated fan of the game, she might very well deserve her own skin. Don’t you think?
