Following Moira Walley's withdrawal, Meredith Averill is set to take her place.
Fans of Rebecca Yarros' fantasy book series The Empyrean are eagerly awaiting the adaptation of the Fourth Wing TV series, which is set to appear on Prime Video in the future.
But first, there are some significant changes to be made behind the scenes of the series production.
Meredtih Averill As New Showrunner For "Fourth Wing"
After Moira Walley left the production team as showrunner for the series, it has now been announced that Meredith Averill, Locke & Key co-creator and executive producer for Wednesday Season 2, will take her place.
The Fourth Wing TV series started its development in October 2023 and will be produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society.
It is still too early for an official release date, but fans will probably have to be very patient, as the series is not expected to be released before 2027.
