MrBeast returns with Season 2 of Beast Games. That means bigger challenges and brand-new sets.
Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, is returning with Season 2 of his hit Amazon Prime show “Beast Games” and this time it’s more spectacular than ever. After the huge success of the first season, which surpassed 50 million views worldwide and became Prime Video’s most-watched unscripted show, the YouTube star has now officially announced the release date for Season 2.
Fans will be able to watch the new episodes starting January 7, 2026.
MrBeast: Mega Set For Season 2
For the second season, MrBeast has taken the concept to a completely new level. Instead of building a traditional set, he created an entire “Beast City” that serves as both home and playground for the contestants. Photos from the set reveal a futuristic complex featuring swimming pools, a basketball court, lounge areas, and two massive stages designed for the upcoming challenges. The enormous setting promises to make the already intense competitions even more spectacular.

100 of the strongest and 100 of the smartest people people on earth compete for over $10,000,000 in prizes in the most insane games ever created :D pic.twitter.com/7KQFud0Vfw
Unlike the first season, which featured 1,000 contestants, Season 2 brings together a carefully selected group. Back in March 2025, MrBeast launched a global casting call in search of the “strongest” and “smartest” people on the planet. In the end, 100 of the strongest and 100 of the smartest contestants will face off against each other.
The prize money has been doubled to 5 million US dollars, raising the stakes even higher. Under the theme “Strength vs. Smarts,” the competition will push both physical power and strategic thinking to their limits.
Beast Games Season 2: The Excitement Is Building
The release will roll out in several stages: On January 7, 2026, the first three episodes will drop, followed by weekly releases leading up to the season finale on February 25, 2026. The show will be available in more than 240 countries and regions worldwide, once again targeting a global audience.
MrBeast himself serves as host and executive producer. He is supported by an experienced creative team: Sean Klitzner and Matt Apps act as showrunners, with Tyler Conklin and Mack Hopkins as co-creators. Additional executive producers include Michael Cruz, Jeff Housenbold, Michael Miller, Josh Kulic, and Chris Keiper.
The second season promises not only more thrilling games and higher stakes, but also an even more impressive visual experience. MrBeast once again blends his signature mega-challenges with innovative set designs, setting new standards for reality and game shows in the digital age.
With “Beast Games,” the YouTuber has proven yet again that his success reaches far beyond the internet and into traditional television. Following the launch of his own theme park, “Beast Land,” in Saudi Arabia, Donaldson continues to show that his creative ambitions know no bounds and fans can look forward to a second season that aims to surpass everything that came before it.
