TikToker EDobbin shocks the internet with predatory streams, bizarre rants, and a police probe over hidden camera glasses.
British TikToker and Kick streamer Scott Margerison, known online as EDobbin, has sparked widespread outrage across the internet with a string of bizarre statements and predatory behavior. Operating largely under the radar of mainstream media until recently, his aggressive IRL livestreams have now drawn severe backlash from the online community and caught the attention of law enforcement.
The Myth of "Man's Value"
Margerison’s broadcasts frequently rely on shocking viewers and making unsuspecting members of the public deeply uncomfortable. One viral clip that heavily resonated within the commentary community features a disturbing exchange with a young male bartender.
During the interaction, the influencer casually claims that men are born with "zero value" and must build it from scratch. In a particularly unsettling twist, he adds, "my wife isn't even born yet," implying a predatory preference for an unborn or underage partner.
When the bartender calls the take highly controversial, Margerison doubles down, arguing that while women are born with inherent value, men must "create the monster."
These vapid, pseudo-philosophical rants are a staple of his content, often interlaced with extreme conspiratorial views including the immediate rejection of anyone who has been vaccinated.
Secret Cameras and the Police Probe
What elevates EDobbin from a standard internet eccentric to a genuine public safety concern is his method of filming. Margerison utilizes Meta "smart glasses" equipped with candid cameras to record strangers in public spaces without their consent. This invasive behavior has officially triggered an investigation by Police Scotland.
The probe follows multiple reports of public harassment across the country. In a separate, highly condemned incident at a London rally, Margerison was caught on video aggressively pursuing a 15-year-old girl, entirely ignoring her mother who repeatedly and explicitly told the streamer to back off and get lost.
As public pressure mounts, communities online are calling for stricter platform bans to prevent Margerison from monetizing what many describe as outright stalking and harassment.
What do you think? Should platforms like Kick and TikTok implement permanent hardware bans for creators who harass the public, or is the current moderation enough? Leave a comment!
