Hot Ones is one of the most watched celebrity interview formats on YouTube, with a wide array of A-list celebrities coming on to take up the challenge.

If you're not familiar, the twist of this interview is that the guests have to eat increasingly spicy wings and answer the questions while they're reeling from the heat.

Now, there are talks about the show moving to Netflix.

Hot Ones As A Netflix Live Broadcast

Reportedly, Netflix wants to produce a few episodes of Hot Ones to broadcast live on the streaming platform. But it isnot yet clear whether these episodes would afterward air on YouTube as well.

What is certain, though, is that Sean Evans, the show's famous host, would continue to do Hot Ones even on Netflix. He is the perfect pick for the show, since he is charismatic, and he has an incredible resistance to even the spiciest of wings.

Hot Ones produces great numbers, with its parent channel, First We Feast, sporting 14 million subscribers. With huge celebrities like Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, they recently managed to pull in more than 20 million views.

If Netflix manages to come to an agreement with Buzzfeed Inc., who own the show, Hot Ones could see record viewership numbers.

The deal is not set in stone though, with Bloomberg stating that the sources they have spoken to wanted to remain anonymous, since the talks “could still fall apart”.
