Post Malone has big plans for 2026: In a joint livestream with the popular streamer xQc, the musician revealed that, if everything goes according to plan, he intends to release not one, but two new albums. While casually playing Hunt: Showdown, Posty shared the exciting news with his fans:

“Chances are, guys, we’re getting two albums in 2026 if everything goes the way I imagine.”

Post Malone Surprises His Fans With That News

Not just one album, but two in a single year? Clearly, someone’s been busy in the studio! When asked about the musical direction, Post Malone stayed deliberately vague:

“A little bit of everything, baby… I think people will be happy. At least, I hope so.”

This piques curiosity, as the 30-year-old has experimented with a variety of genres in the past. His latest album, F-1 Trillion, released in summer 2024, surprised fans by moving away from his well-known rap and trap roots into the realm of country music. The gamble paid off: the album sold over a million copies worldwide, went gold in the UK, achieved platinum status in the US, and continues to chart.

Two Albums In The Works

The musician already has concrete plans for the new year: together with his producers and musical collaborators, he aims to write, record, and complete the albums from scratch – even before 2026 officially began. As he explained himself:

“The guys are coming over for New Year’s. We’re gonna write, record, and get it all done.”

Will it happen exactly as planned? And will both albums really be released this year? “I hope people will be happy with the music, because I am!” Posty added.

Fans can likely look forward not just to new music, but to a versatile repertoire that could combine pop, rap, country, and more. The announcement immediately sparked excitement in the community. Whether Post Malone will reveal further details about the two albums remains to be seen.

What do you think? Would you celebrate two new Posty albums, and if so, which genres would you most like to hear?
