ChudTheBuilder was arrested live on stream after harassing employees and leaving a restaurant without paying.
ChudTheBuilder is a controversial enough figure as it is, but this time he took it too far and as a result, was arrested live on stream for broadcasting from a restaurant against explicit orders and leaving without paying. He seems to have no guilty feeling and shared the footage of the whole ordeal himself.
ChudTheBuilder Arrested
Dalton Levi Eatherly is a Clarksville contractor known online as ChudTheBuilder. He broadcasts himself in his IRL streams often confronting, insulting and harassing members of the public using racial slurs.
He was recently banned indefinitely from Kick after harassing people on stream who had previously asked him to stop. He now streams on Pump.fun.
Now, a clip of his went viral, in which he is being handcuffed by police on a sidewalk placing him under arrest.

According to Dexerto, Davidson County Sheriff’s Office inmate record lists Eatherly, Dalton L., as being admitted to the Downtown Detention Center on May 10, 2026, at 4:46 AM.
The Restaurant Incident
The arrest followed a chaotic incident at Bob's Steak and Chop, a restaurant at the Omni Hotel on Rep. John Lewis Way South on May 9. According to police affidavits presented by TMZ and his own livestream footage, the streamer entered the restaurant saturday night and began talking to staff while livestreaming. The employees repeatedly told Eatherly to stop streaming and especially to stop filming other people, which he refused at first. He himself posted the full clips of the situation where you can clearly hear and see the staff being polite and asking him not to film or stream in their restaurant and him continuing to argue. They do eventually give him a table, though and the stream keeps running without picture.
Eatherly allegedly ordered two full entrees, appetizers and drinks totaling $371.55 before employees realized he had continued streaming anyway.
He is then approached again while eating, by an employee saying he has heard reports that the stream is still running despite the repeated requests to stop. Eatherly argues that he is not recording anyone, but the server asks him to leave anyways, because he is alledgedly "offending people".
The cameraman starts to film again showing the restaurant's name and the employees' faces.
When the restaurant realized he had been live streaming they asked him to stop his actions. He became disruptive and started making racial statements, yelling, screaming and otherwise creating a scene at the location.
the affidavit stated.
The streamer starts insulting staff members and saying "thanks for the free food" and "oh I'm not paying if you are kicking me out". He also tells arriving guests to not eat there as he leaves, his cameraman filming the whole thing.

When police tried to arrest him later, Eatherly reportedly pulled his arm away before he was ultimately taken into custody.
The affidavits say his behavior disrupted other diners and interfered with normal restaurant operations. So his charges are reportedly documented as theft of services of $1,000 or less, disorderly conduct, and resist stop, frisk, halt, arrest, or search. TMZ details that his jail records show Eatherly was booked and released on a $5K bond.
His Own Story
The next day, ChudTheBuilder came forward on X, stating that he was in custody for 13 hours and had his phone taken away, which is why he is only now appearing online again. He denies any fault as he claims he did not even get to finish his meal and the employee was only mad at him because of what he said to him. The streamer does not think his actions were wrong because he was only "leaving a restaurant when [he] was asked to."
I partially ate the two appetizers i ordered. Never got my meal, and couldnt enjoy or finish the food i did get. He said on camera "ok just go then"

Hes mad i called him short and then told the guests who stopped me for a picture on my way out not to eat there anymore.
Phones siezed as "evidence of the crime".

He also discloses that he was allegedly interviewed by FBI and a domestic terrorist detective during his time in custody.
FBI and Domestic terrorist detective interviewed me for about 2 hours before they took me for booking, asking if i was part of some organization. "no sir im just a dude with a camera"

ChudTheBuilder disturbed customers, filmed unconsenting people inside an establishment where he was explicitly forbidden to do so, (racially) insulted employees and left without even offering to pay what he had consumed - and still he wonders why he was taken into custody. The incident has only added to ChudTheBuilder’s growing reputation for disruptive and confrontational behavior online. While he continues to portray himself as the victim, critics argue that the livestream footage tells a very different story: one of harassment, disrespect toward staff and customers, and a complete disregard for basic rules and consequences.
