IShowSpeed has sparked another big moment during his ongoing Africa livestream tour after a short sprint against Olympic gold medalist Letsile Tebogo went viral online. Tebogo is one of the fastest sprinters in the world. He won Botswana’s first-ever Olympic gold medal in the 200 meters at the 2024 Games and holds the world U20 record in the 100 meters.

Unexpected Moment On Track

As the two took off down the straight, Speed clearly pulled ahead. He crossed the finish line first, and he could be heard celebrating.

“I won that, though.”

The clip quickly spread across X, with some fans questioning what really happened. Some argued Tebogo might not have been running at full effort, or they pointed out that he clearly slipped at the start. Others simply say that keeping up with a world-class sprinter is something most people can only dream of.

Speed is no stranger to turning physical challenges into viral moments. During his livestreams, he often pushes himself into athletic situations that go far beyond typical creator content. In the past, Speed has raced Olympic medalist Noah Lyles, a moment that already sparked similar debates online and showed his willingness to test himself against professional athletes in front of a live audience.

Alongside these moments, Speed has also built a dedicated YouTube series: Speed Goes Pro, where he tries out different sports, ranging from football and basketball to track-and-field-inspired challenges.

What do you make of Speed’s race against Letsile Tebogo? Do you think he actually took the win, or was it just a fun moment for the camera? Let us know in the comments below.
