New Rules And Team-Based Games: What The Teaser Reveals
The teaser opens with a symbolic scene showing Gi-hun lying in a coffin, reflecting his emotional state after the traumatic events of the previous games.
The rules of the game have also changed.
Players are no longer placed individually but are divided into red and blue teams through a gumball machine.
This hints at new group-based games where strategy and team dynamics are likely to play a much bigger role.

One of the standout moments is the introduction of Chul-su, a new killer doll who serves as the male counterpart to the infamous Young-hee.
It’s already clear that the upcoming games could be even more brutal and unpredictable than before.
The Return Of Familiar Faces
Alongside Gi-hun, several familiar faces are returning. The Front Man, In-ho, is still running the games, while his brother Jun-ho refuses to give up and continues searching for the truth behind the organization.
Characters like Geum-ja, Yong-sik and Jun-hee also reappear. Their stories remain unfinished and will be explored or concluded in the third season.
Whether Gi-hun can truly change the game this time or ends up being broken by it himself, we’ll find out starting June 27 on Netflix.
