Fraternal twins YouTube chat and Twitch chat had to be separated by streamer Gigguk and their reaction was priceless. But why did the streamer even have to separate them in the first place? Twitch terms of service might give us an insight.

Twitch Terms Of Service – Why This Had To Happen

A clip of streamer Gigguk went viral where he explained that he had to separate his two chats because Twitch reached out to him with a warning. According to their terms of service, multi-streaming is allowed, but combining the chats is not.

Twitch's terms of service state that it puts the community experience first. Any links to other sites that could lead the viewers to leave Twitch is therefore not allowed. Combining the chats through third-party tools is therefore also prohibited.

Fight Between The Two Chats

Naturally, upon hearing the news, the two chats immediately started antagonizing each other as a joke. In the clip, YouTube chat claimed it was better than Twitch chat in one corner of the stream while Twitch chat started booing YouTube chat in another corner, leaving the streamer laughing in the middle. He then said:

Sit on the opposite corner, alright? Alright, no interacting with each other.

Then he read a chat message in one of his chats that made him laugh:

"PVP"? You guys get a corner each.

Unfortunately, the fraternal twins YouTube and Twitch chat seem to have to remain separated for now, even though combining the chats seems to only be a problem for Twitch, not YouTube.
