Imagine Twitch themselves gifting you 50 subs… only to ban you shortly after.

50 Gifted Subs Later, Cdee2Neat Is Banned

The Canadian streamer Cdee2neat recently went viral after a clip surfaced of him saying he would like to buy some Jamaican beef patties if he received a few gifted subs. The moment quickly gained traction online and drew so much attention that Twitch’s official account ended up gifting him 50 subscriptions during his stream. He celebrated the gesture with a simple but enthusiastic “W Twitch.”

However, shortly afterward, his account was banned from the platform. As is standard procedure, Twitch does not comment publicly on the specific reasons for bans or their duration. In a post on X, Cdee2neat claimed he was banned for being underage. In the same post, he wrote:

“The thing is I’m literally 13.”

With that statement, he appeared to reference Twitch’s own minimum age requirement. According to the platform’s rules, streaming at 13 is generally permitted.

Cdee2neat later followed up with another post on X, stating that he expects to return to Twitch in roughly one month. In the meantime, he said he would remain active on YouTube.

At least one part of the story had a positive outcome. By now, he has streamed on YouTube and finally got to enjoy his long-awaited beef patties.

This situation further emphasizes how unpredictable Twitch’s ban policies can appear to viewers. One moment you receive gifted subs, the next your account is suspended. Few examples illustrate how sudden platform enforcement can seem from the outside. Especially considering that he is technically old enough to stream under Twitch’s own minimum age requirement, the timing raised eyebrows online. Nonetheless, the whole situation probably left him with a net positive and his Jamaican beef patties.
