Streamer Bisscute, who's originally from Romania, is known and loved by her community, especially for the cozy feeling within her streams. As she tried to show a katana to her viewers, disaster took its course.

Instinct Strike

Just to make sure: Trigger warning! I'll save you the gory details, but for anyone who has a problem with hand/finger injuries, maybe you should skip this one.

But what actually happened? Well, Bisscute wanted to show her new acquisition to the people who were watching her stream at that time. She grabbed it, and for me, as someone who watched the clip, it looked like a replica.

For anyone who's into fake swords, usually those imitation weapons are blunt. Spoiler Alert: Not this one. While carrying it over to the camera, the sword slipped and instinct kicked in.

Just try to imagine what you would do if you dropped something. You would try to catch it, right? Bisscute did exactly that. Well... A katana has no handle, and it was sharp. And that's where I leave it up to your imagination, because I'm feeling sick again just thinking about it.

An Update From Her Mods

The stream obviously ended with her holding her hand and leaving the camera view. Her mods gave an update later on, telling her followers that she had to go to the ER because one of her fingers was almost sliced to the bone.

On her Instagram, she gave another update. She actually severed two tendons in her fingers. Streaming will be called off for a while, from what it looks like. Despite it being an accident, because, as I already mentioned, you cannot control your instincts, her handling of that weapon is something you can criticize.

From a viewer standpoint it looked like a blunt weapon, from the way she was carrying it, and that's exactly the issue. Even if swords are outdated and viewed as cool gimmicks for your apartment. Sharp ones are still considered weapons and should be used with care.

Especially if you're showing them to your community. A streamer has to serve as a role model, and hopefully this situation had a learning effect. Apart from that, we from EarlyGame wish her a smooth recovery and all the best.

Do you think it's her fault, or did something similar happen to you? Let us know in the comments!
