Tangy TD

Cakez77 is a German game developer, Twitch streamer, and YouTuber. After working on it for four years, he finally published his game Tangy TD on March 9, 2026. (You can check it out here.)

It is a strategic tower defense game in which you play as a witch defending a tangerine tree. You can place class-based towers with items that grant abilities.

Cakez developed the game all by himself, sharing the process on social media, streaming himself coding, and showing off new graphics and features.

The Viral Clip

One day after officially releasing his game, Cakez went to Twitch and livestreamed his first look into his Steamworks Sales and Activations Report only to see that he had already made $31,942!

Oh my god! Man, I’m shaking. I can’t believe it, bro. Thank you, guys. You guys have no idea. I cried so many times before this.

Viewers are delighted by this real happiness after years of hard work. They call the clip "wholesome" and "couple goals" and praise Cakez's wife's genuine joy for his success.

Even MoistCr1TiKaL got wind of this viral clip and played the game during a livestream. (You can watch that here.)

The clip of his reaction went very viral in the days following the release and helped the streamer and developer to even more exposure of his game. Now, after five more days, he checked his Steamworks Sales and Activations Report on live again, now having made an incredible $245,123.

The Creator can be seen crying of joy and thankfulness, barely being able to believe the numbers. And of course, his partner is by his side again, hugging him and being delighted with his success after all of his hard work.
