The Paul brothers teased a major boxing showdown, but the twist, once again, created a massive hype.

You can say a lot about the Paul brothers, but they definitely know how to create hype. Known for their larger-than-life presence both online and in the ring, they have always been masters of suspense. Recently, Jake and Logan teased fans with the promise of a fight through a post where they talked about fighting each other as kids, or another one showing them being in a dojo-like environment, shirtless and in boxing gear, egging each other on.
But then came the twist – the fight wasn't happening, as it was only a promo stunt to promote their new reality TV show. Here's everything you need to know about the Paul brothers' newest project.
From Fight to Reality Show
Instead of stepping into the boxing ring, Jake and Logan Paul are offering fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into their world with Paul American. The reality show, premiering on Max on March 27, will explore their family life, business ventures, and their transformation from YouTube stars to serious athletes and entrepreneurs.
Promising a no-holds-barred look into their lives, Paul American will feature eight episodes that give viewers an intimate glimpse into both the triumphs and struggles the brothers face. This new series promises to offer a fresh, unfiltered perspective on the Paul brothers as they navigate fame, family, and success. However, we do have to mention that the reality they present is probably as non-staged as Jake's fight against Mike Tyson.
New Show Divides the Internet
This Paul Brothers news has divided the internet once again. While people on Jake Paul's Instagram, where the reality TV show trailer has been posted, expressed their hype and said they're fine with the twist, the reactions on YouTube were nothing but negative. 'If you're hyped for this, you need your head checked' and 'Shame on y'all for giving air time to these scam artists' — people are also criticizing HBO for giving the controversial social media stars a platform.
The hype is also not as big as they probably wished it would be. The two boxing teaser posts on Logan Paul's channel have both gained about 600k likes, while the actual trailer has not even reached 80k. The YouTube video barely made 20k views on its first day, and one can only speculate about the amount of dislikes based on the comments. In the trailer, Jake Paul said that villains and bad guys make the most people tune in. Well, it's not like he even tried the opposite.
Are you tuning into the new show? Did you guess the fight was only to create hype? Let us know in the comments!
