We can return to Hollywood’s most elite performing arts school as early as 2026.
The rumored Victorious spinoff Hollywood Arts is officially confirmed and will feature Daniella Monet, reprising her role as Trina Vega.
Monet shared a video confirming the rumors with the caption „hey Victorious fans, we’re freaking the freak out - Hollywood Arts, a #Victorious spinoff, is officially in production!“
Hollywood Arts To Air On Netflix
Netflix has picked up the series, already ordering 26 episodes. The deal with Netflix is thought to be a recent development following the completion of the Skydance-Paramount merger in August, which led to the departure of longtime Nickelodeon chief Brian Robbins along with several other top executives.
The show is created by Jake Farrow and Samantha Martin and produced by Paramount Television Studios.
In addition to starring, Monet will also serve as an executive producer.
Release Date And Plot
The series is set to premiere on Netflix in 2026, though an exact release date has not yet been announced.
In Hollywood Arts, struggling actress Trina Vega (Daniella Monet) returns to her former high school as an unqualified substitute teacher. As she navigates her new role, Trina teaches and inspires a fresh generation of ambitious and talented students at Hollywood’s most elite performing arts school.
Monet recently expressed her excitement about the upcoming sequel:
“Coming back as Trina alongside such a dynamic, powerful cast of newcomers is something I feel very lucky and grateful to do. […] As an actress, producer, and mom, I am so eager to create something we can all be proud to share with the world.”
She also thanked former Victorious cast members for their supportive reactions on the project.
Cast
Casting for Hollywood Arts began in February 2025, though it remains unclear whether other original Victorious cast members, such as Victoria Justice, will return. It would seem natural for Tori Vega (Justice) to make occasional appearances to visit her sister, Trina Vega (Daniella Monet).
In April 2025, Elizabeth Gillies, who played Jade West, expressed openness to reprising her role, while Matt Bennett, who portrayed Robbie Shapiro, hinted at a possible return around the same time. Ariana Grande, who played Cat Valentine, has not yet commented on the matter.
Here is a full list of the known cast so far:
- Daniella Monet as Trina Vega
- Alyssa Miles as Emmy
- Peyton Jackson as Qwest
- Martin Kamm as Oscar
- Emmy Liu-Wang as Pepper
- Erika Swayze as Jen Z
- Yvette Nicole Brown as Principal Helen Dubois (Recurring)
