EA FC 24's Ultimate Birthday Icons Team 1 made some of the best icons in the game even better! We will show you the best cards of the new event.
Finally, the time has come! Tonight EA will release not only Team 1 of the active players, but also the Icons Team 1 of the Ultimate Birthday Event. As usual, there are plenty of 5-star upgrades for skills and weak foot. Some Icons could now be really OP. We give you an overview and show you which players should become particularly awesome.

Some players receive two different cards. One gets an upgrade to 5-star skills (SM), the other to 5-star weak foot (WF). The list also includes the icons that were part of the Mini-Release 1.

Highest Rating: Ruud Gullit (94)
Gullit has been arguably the best midfielder in the FIFA/EAFC series for years. Many players and even pros say his card is goated. His Ultimate Birthday receives not only a slight upgrade but also 5-star skills, what a card!
Highest Pace: Thierry Henry (94)
Henry can definitely compete with Gullit! With his 97 pace and the Playstyle Plus "Rapid," no one will catch you on the wing. However, the card will be very expensive and very hard to get.
Most Fun To Play: Edwin Van der Sar (92)
It's almost a tradition for goalkeepers at the birthday events to receive a double 5-star upgrade. Anyone who has Van der Sar on the this year can now make rainbow flicks over the opposing strikers with his new card.
