In a move that has players both scratching their heads and bursting into laughter, Fortnite has just introduced a new feature aimed at preserving peace on the battlefield: the Trigger-Free Setting "See Confrontational Emotes" for four provocative emotes.

Fortnite Gets Serious: "Anti-Trigger Mode" For Emote Peace Introduced – Finally Putting An End To The Drama On The Battlefield!

Ever been utterly devastated and completely triggered after being eliminated by a player in Fortnite, only to be laughed at with the donkey laugh emote? Or perhaps you've felt a hint of frustration as the enemy cheerfully triggered the "Take the L" emote after a hard-fought victory against your team?

Fear not, dear gamer, for Fortnite has heard your cries!

With the latest Update v29.30, players now have the option to protect themselves from witnessing the absurdities of those who love to rub their victories in the faces of others. Yes, you read that right. Say goodbye to the auditory assault of "Whiplash" or the visual barrage of "Make It Plantain," as Fortnite introduces the option to simply not see these emotes anymore.

This is aimed at helping players feel less triggered and to create a more enjoyable gaming experience for all. After all, your parents probably don't want to buy you another controller or screen that broke during your last outburst.

So, whether you're a seasoned Fortnite pro or a casual player just looking to have a good time, take a moment to appreciate the absurdity of it all.

The new setting can be found under "Social Privacy". By default, it will be set to only allow you to see these emotes from friends in your group. However, you can change the setting at any time to see these emotes from ALL players or even not at all.

For players who select this setting, a player using such an emote will simply stand still, and no emote sound will be played.

In the ever-evolving world of Fortnite, one thing's for sure: expect the unexpected, and always remember to dance like nobody's watching (especially if they can't see you anyway).
