The popular content creator Rubius is joining Fortnite's Icon Series, and you can even win his skin for free in the Rubius Icon Cup! That is, if you're one of the best players in your region. We have all the details about this Fortnite tournament for you.
Rubius 30 Icon Cup: Schedule & Format
The Rubius Icon Cup will take place on September 21, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM (PT). It is a duo tournament in Fortnite’s Zero Build mode. You and your mate can play up to ten matches within a three-hour window in your region.
So, grab your mate and start practicing, because the competition is coming soon!
Participation
To participate in the Rubius Icon Cup, you and your mate must be in a lobby together. Simply select the Rubius Icon Cup from the Fortnite competitive tab at the start of the tournament and queue up. Players must have Two-Factor Authentication enabled and verified for their Epic account, be at least account level 15, and have reached Bronze I in Ranked Battle Royale.
Scoring System
Points are awarded for both placements and eliminations. You and your mate earn 4 points for each elimination. Placement points are as follows:
- Victory Royale: 70 points
- 2nd place: 60 points
- 3rd place: 56 points
- 4th place: 52 points
- 5th place: 48 points
- 6th place: 44 points
- 7th place: 40 points
- 8th place: 38 points
- 9th place: 36 points
- 10th place: 34 points
- 11th place: 32 points
- 12th place: 30 points
- 13th place: 28 points
- 14th place: 26 points
- 15th place: 24 points
- 16th place: 22 points
- 17th place: 20 points
- 18th place: 18 points
- 19th place: 16 points
- 20th place: 14 points
- 21st place: 12 points
- 22nd place: 10 points
- 23rd place: 8 points
- 24th place: 6 points
- 25th place: 4 points
Fortnite Rubius Icon Cup: Prizes
The top players in each region can win the "Rubius" outfit, the "Wilson" back bling, the "Moon Flame" pickaxe, and the "Flamitas de Kevin" wrap, before they appear in the shop—along with the "E-meow-ticon" emoticon and the "Limonada" emoticon.Additionally, all teams that score at least 8 points will receive the "SquareKat" spray!

- Europe: The top 1,200 teams win the prizes
- North America: The top 1,000 teams win the prizes
- Brazil: The top 200 teams win the prizes
- Asia: The top 200 teams win the prizes
- Oceania: The top 200 teams win the prizes
