Players can test Battlefield's new Battle Royale mode soon.
On X, a leak about the upcoming first season of Battlefield 6, which starts on October 28, 2025, caused quite a stir.
The leak referred to the announced Battle Royale mode of the new first-person shooter, for which no official release date has been announced... until now.
Free-To-Play With Season 1
"ModernWarzone" announced on X that a shadowdrop for Battlefield 6's Battle Royale mode is imminent. Especially in Call of Duty circles, "ModernWarzone" is considered a fairly reliable source for leaks.

Releasing October 28th as previously reported, however it looks like there won't be any trailers or official announcements until the 28th itself instead of a day before.

Battlefield Confirms Rumors
Just like previous leaks about Battlefield 6, such as the "Operation Firestorm" map leak, the Battle Royale mode leak has proven to be correct.
